If you want to use a harness- even to try it out, take my word and invest in the Joque...I wasted so much money on less expensive versions and configurations that simply left me and my partner frustrated.  This harness is amazingly comfortable and versatile. 

The straps are so well designed to fit a wide range of body sizes while still cutting a cute form from the back (you'll love how your ass looks when you wear this!)
You only have to fiddle with the major adjustments once- after that just unstrap one strap to take off/put on
This is washable...I love leather, but the disinfection process is a drag and breaks down the leather.
SO comfortable and can accommodate all but the most seriously (read- not human) inserts.
