GL.iNet Comet Pro (GL-RM10) Remote KVM Over Wi-Fi, Dual Band Wi-Fi 6, 4K@30FPS Passthrough, Touchscreen, 32GB eMMC,Tailscale Support Remote Access for Disaster Recovery, Home Office, IT Professional
This is the newest one that I carry around for work reasons. Because I have a travel router with me, I can hook this up to my travel router and have a portable screen check on any issues with a screen or gpu.
Ubiquiti U7-Pro-XG-B-US UniFi AP 7 Pro XG Black
This is a basic WiFi 7 AP that should accomplish the job for anyone in need of an AP, recommended with the Gateway Fiber. This accomplishes most tasks without a hitch for lots of WiFi connections especially as far as throughput is concerned since you can connect up to 10 Gigabit connection to the PoE+ Ethernet port which means even if you have only a gigabit internet connection, if you have other things to connect within your network, you should be able to go over a gigabit in most* cases.
Ubiquiti UCG-Fiber Cloud Gateway (UCG-Fiber)
While I use a slightly stronger version, this achieves what most households needs at a fraction of the price for hardware. You get a wonderful dedicated routing equipment and just need to pair it with a WiFi Access Point. It is recommended to make it easier by combining with one of their Access Points which will also be listed here. What is good about this is you can also pair it with a small switch of theirs to add extra ports, add extra Power over Ethernet ports, or just general dedicated connections.
Toshiba N300 PRO 4TB Large-Sized Business NAS (up to 24 Bays) 3.5-Inch Internal Hard Drive
You need a hard drive to go well with the NAS units. While you could go for these for internal desktop storage, its really meant for always on production and while one could go for Western Digital Red or Gold or even Seagate Ironwolf, these are generally cheaper, better, more reliable, all usually at the cost of some sound so if you need it quiet, maybe see if you can add some things to dampen hearing the write/read sounds in wherever it is going in. You can opt for other sizes and versions, but sometimes the non-pro is meant for nearly 8 bays, and Pro just generally adds slightly more workload time so take your pick as you need.
UGREEN NAS DXP6800 Pro 6-Bay Desktop NAS, Intel i5 1235u 10-Core CPU, 8GB DDR5 RAM, Built-in 128G SSD for System, 2X 10GbE, 2XM.2 NVMe Slots, 8K HDMI, 2XTBT4, Network Attached Storage (Diskless)
So if you're looking for a NAS that can do many things OR if you want the NAS to be basically ready to go and pop in your own OS for being a server, then this is for you. UGREEN became the disruptor to NAS units and being more involved in the Consumer space currently with these things. This 6-bay should be enough for many things because you can also install 2 NVMe slots and the OS drive is a 128G SSD that you can swap out for any other pre-set OS you can tinker with. This has more than enough power for most modern ones if you don't know how to make your own NAS unit or don't want to be bothered by the heavy amount of tinkering to make your own Unit when this can work with just about anything thrown at it.
GL.iNet Comet PoE (GL-RM1PE) KVM
This is the Power over Ethernet version of a Keyboard, Video, and Mouse setup to remotely control a single device. If your network supports having PoE, you can both power it and give it network access.
GL.iNet Comet (GL-RM1) Remote KVM
This is a simple Keyboard, Video, and Mouse control that can work over the internet or just in the LAN. Not decent for gaming and requires an extra power source and ethernet cable, but if you pair it with a push button, this could be a decent add-on for various things like maybe restart a mini-server you might have.
