I bought these for Japanese Writing Practice. These are about 80 pts, 5.9x8.3 inches, A5, Grid paper notebooks. These are small, portable and really cute! I love the variety of color and the transparent look motivates me to practice writing.

Perfect beginner textbook for english speakers, cultural notes included, slow-pace but simple and understandable. My favorite part is, it doubles as a work-book. This is a feature you don’t get with a genki or minna no nihongo textbook-however; I don’t think you should rule those out at mid-high level self-study.
