My favourite brand of foam clay is not available internationally but this one looks pretty close. Foam clay is perfect for organic shapes and difficult to sand pieces that are lightweight and complicated

I use a pink and blue A0 self-healing cutting mat. Any cutting mat will do but a giant one saved my desk (and floor) many times

A useful tool for sanding, cutting, beveling, embelishing and texturing your foam pieces. I reccomend kits with a flex shaft for ease of work

Sanding is a staple of foam work. It makes sure your pieces are prepared correctly and they look well made after the paint job.
You will need sandpaper in at least three grids. Get sandpaper that can get wet just in case

A great way to prime your pieces that need some sanding after priming. Not for bendable pieces

Sandable Filler Primer

A budget way to prime foam pieces before painting. Used to fill in the pores in the foam. Not for bendable pieces. Any type of wood glue will do

Wood Glue

A tool used to heat seal or bend the foam. Foam has pores that need to close with heat. It can also get put in many shapes and retain these shapes when it gets cool

Heat Gun

A sprayable rubber primer that covers foam before painting and lets it keep bendability. Available in many colours and finishes

Plasti Dip

My favourite type of gold spraypaint. Montana Cans carries many colours of this finish but the Gold is my favourite, especially for League of Legends cosplays
