I've always wanted a cast iron dutch oven, but the price point often convinced me to wait. Early in January 2022, my husband noted that Amazon Basics had one as a belated Christmas present and grabbed it for me. I am SO glad he did! This has been a fantastic soup, stew, bread, and baking tool. It hasn't chipped or cracked and remains heavy-duty and sturdy.  I am sharing this with an affiliate code for you to check out because I use it and LOVE it. If you know what I mean, I refuse to share anything that doesn't tickle my ivories.
