This massive box set release marks the beginning of Bandai's MG line of MSV-R Mobile Suits based on legendary Gundam designer Kunio Okawara's redrawn Mobile Suit designs in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam! Modelers get to build two impressive MG kits in this set that consists of previously-released Gundam and G-Fighter that have now been molded in Real Type colors!

MG G-Armor (RX-78-2 Gundam + G-Fighter) Real Type Color Ver.

Perfect Gundam, a fan-created 'redesign' of the RX-78-2 (with lots of extra armor and weapons), is now being offered in a beautiful 1/100 Master Grade version, with all-new tooling (for 2003, of course)! Beautifully detailed and highly poseable thanks to lots of polycaps, it's molded all in color and features snap-fit assembly. A couple of screws are included for security. Gundam decals (the nice rub-on kind) and stickers are also included to add detail. A bonus unpainted figure of Kyoshiro (from the manga ‘Plamo Kyoshiro,’ where the Perfect Gundam was designed), the 'pilot' of the Perfect Gundam, is included—though he's in 1/20 scale.

Of course effect parts are included for Burning Finger and Burning Slash, and PET sheets are included for the sun ring that can be attached to the core fighter!

RG GF13-017NJII God Gundam (Burning Gundam)

This is a completely new mold from the original kit and even incorporates a transformation gimmick into Neo Bird Mode! A buster shield is also included, putting this kit's accessories right in line with the Hi-Res Model! Not only that, but the Twin Buster Rifle can be folded and stored inside the wing parts! Last (and maybe most important), this kit comes with water slide decals and a dedicated display base right out of the box! YES!

MG XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero Custom Ver.Ka

As part of the 15th anniversary of the Master Grade line, Bandai is releasing the kit the fans have asked for: The PMX-003 THE O. This thing is massive! Standing almost 25 centimeters tall and weighing about 600 grams (that's 10 inches and 1.3 lbs for all us Americans), THE O is one of the largest MG kits ever released. Bandai promises the engineering of this kit will portray the "heaviness" of this monstrous machine. If you haven't experienced one of the legendary kits of the Gunpla lineup, now is your chance! Don't wait though; this thing has a tendency to go out of print for years at a time!


MG PMX-003 The-O

The Deathscythe Hell as it appears in the Endless Waltz OVA is here! Based on the same inner frame as the MG Wing kit, it will have superb levels of poseability when assembled. This MG kit will come with the famous beam scythe as well as the bat wing-like cloak that can be opened. There’s not much to be said about this kit; the pictures speak for themselves!


MG XXXG-01D2 Gundam Deathscythe Hell EW Ver.

We can't believe this wasn't earlier in the line, but that's okay! The original coloring of the Federation's prototype weapon in Gundam GQuuuuuuX is finally on its way, featuring the same stellar molding and technology as the Red Gundam before it. Instead of the Gundam Hammer and bits, it comes with the distinctive beam rifle, bazooka, shield, and beam sabers, as well as an interchangeable weapon possession hand.

HG RX-78-02 White Gundam

Using the 2.0 frame first used in the RX-78-2 Ver 2.0, here's the newest variant of the beloved mobile suit, this time in Full Armor! Bandai's unique design allows the armor to be put on and removed easily. When armored this mobile suit boasts missile bays in the knee and shoulders, sub thrusters on the legs, and a massive 360mm Rocket Cannon! Additional weaponry consists of its Twin Beam Rifle and Beam Sabers. Foil stickers, dry transfer, and marking stickers are provided as well as a small, clear stand on which to place the Core Fighter.


MG FA-78-1 Full Armor Gundam

If you're getting Evangelion vibes from this it's for good reason, as many designers and directors from the Rebuild series are involved in this groundbreaking new project.

As for the kit, we've never seen value like this packed into such an affordable high grade. Movable joints in the hips, torso, arms, and legs allow you to recreate all of the dynamic action poses you saw in the anime, and a massive variety of weapons and accessories are included. You get effect parts for the weapons, the movable backpack unit, interchangeable hands for weapon possession, an interchangeable head for the different visor mode, and a set of stickers for extra markings. This kit looks just as good as the suit does in action!

HG GMS-Ω GQuuuuuuX

If your Gundam series takes place anywhere in the same realm of thought of the Universal Century timeline, there BETTER be a Zaku variant! Even after the anime has aired and the hype has died down, this thing is still VERY cool. Although it's light on the accessories, the police lights on the shoulders are recreated with clear plastic, and tetron stickers are included to recreate the markings on the body and shield. The mono-eye is movable as well, so you can pose the suit looking or shooting realistically in any direction!

HG MS-06-SSP Police Zaku

Eva Unit-08, is that you?? The aptly-named red Gundam is just that, and it's one of the coolest designs we've seen in a long time! Aside from the wild design aesthetics, the kit is also loaded with accessories: It comes with 2 "bits," beam rifle, shield, Gundam hammer, 2 beam sabers with effect parts, an interchangeable hand, and a sheet of marking stickers to recreate the surface markings!


HG gMS-α Red Gundam

This rendition of Sugai's Gelgoog comes ready to hit some incredible poses thanks to the stellar engineering we already know and love the GQ line for. It comes with interchangeable hand parts, movable thrusters, flexible wires, 2 rifles, and a saber. There are also marking stickers for extra details, like the emblem on the shoulder!

HG gMS-01 Gelgoog (Shiiko Sugai Custom)

Turns out Tentative A & B were the same mobile suit in different colors! This comes with the same weapons and accessories as the red version, so you can pick which one you like the look of better or grab them both! It comes with interchangeable hands, two rifles, flexible thrusters on the back, and a beam saber in addition to marking stickers for extra details upon completion!

HG gMS-01 Gelgoog (Bocata Custom)

The protagonist from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is joining Bandai's line of high-quality character models with a ton of details and accessories! Parts separation is used to recreate her distinctive hair color and interchangeable faces are included for a variety of display options upon completion. The most important thing is that it comes with BEANIE HARO!

We love this a LOT. The classic Guncannon design has been completely reimagined for the GQuuuuuuX universe and then brought to life as part of the HG line! Its accessories are barebones and feature the cannon, beam rifle, beam saber, and 2 pairs of interchangeable hands, but the mold has been created in such a way that allows you to recreate any pose seen in the anime! We can't wait to see what other twists on classic designs are on their way!

HG RGM-79 Light-Type Guncannon

Tentative Item C has been revealed to be Xavier's Gyan! (We never knew his name was Xavier because they call him "Ensign Exabe" in the first episode of the dub. Interesting!) Anyway, this is another wild take on the Gyan that goes to such extremes that a separate display base is included just to hold the spear up! The shield hatches can open for a missile deployed state, and beam saber effect blades are included if you want to use the more understated melee weapons. Clear space on your shelf for this one!


HG MS-15/H Gyan Hakuji-Packs (Xavier Olivette Custom)

The mysterious refugee courier from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is getting added to the Figure-Rise Standard line of high quality model kits! She comes with her courier backpack, phone, sunglasses, headphones, and even an in-scale version of Conch!

FINALLY, we know all of the "tentative" GQuuuuuuX kits! The final one to round out the set (formerly "Tentative D") is the Eva Unit-01 of the bunch. It features the same stellar molding and gimmicks as the original GQuuuuuuX, but it has a new head that can be displayed in stored or deployed states and new parts on the core booster / backpack. The "funnels" can also be deployed on separately-sold weapon display bases!

HG gMS-κ GFreD (Gundam FreD)

GQuuuuuuX's long-lasting legacy will certainly be its contribution to re-imagining classic UC designs and bringing them up to the modern era in model kit engineering! This Rick Dom is no exception, being the most detailed and well-articulated version of the mobile suit to grace the Plamo lineup. The third leg can fold down into high-mobility mode without any parts replacement, and the silver parts are recreated through metallic injection molding. You may want to break out a red Gundam Marker for the inner details on the thruster nozzles though!

There it is, the original Ball Zaku! This kit recreates Zeon's original mobile suit as it appeared in GQuuuuuuX Beginning, and it comes with a newly sculpted Zaku Bazooka and an interchangeable hand for posing options upon completion.

Challia Bull's custom Rick Dom from GQuuuuuuX is joining the HG lineup! It can switch from normal to high-mobility mode without parts replacement, interchangeable hands are included, along with the two heat sabers, and a flexible wire can be used to recreate the hook gimmick! Display this kit with Red Gundam upon completion so all your friends know to ask you about your Char x Challia fanfics.


HG MS-09 Rick Dom (Challia Bull Custom)

This thing is GOLD! Bandai broke out the electroplating for three different shades of gold in this product so that it looks even better than any previously released version of the Akatsuki Gundam. It comes with a beam saber, beam rifle, shield, interchangeable hands, realistic tetron seal stickers, and a dedicated display base so the Oowashi Pack can be displayed separately or as the backpack!

It was only a matter of time, and we're honestly surprised it took this long! After 14 years of the Real Grade line pushing engineering boundaries in 1/144 scale, we're getting the first true 2.0 release of the first ever RG! This kit looks to take all the stellar engineering seen in the PG Unleashed and cram it down from 1/60 to 1/144 scale for one of the most detailed products you've ever seen. We also have a feeling that all of the panel pop-off issues from the original kit will be a thing of the past thanks to over a decade of Bandai engineering advancements!


RG RX-78-2 Gundam Ver 2.0

A lot of people who shop in our warehouse confuse the built MG Sazabi Ver.Ka for a PG kit; we have a feeling the same thing will happen with people mistaking this for an MG! The massive Sazabi is joining the RG line, and it's definitely going to be the most impressive entry in the series! It comes with the beam rifle, shield, beam axe, and 7 interchangeable hands so you'll have plenty of posing options upon completion! The entire suit is outfitted with a myriad of articulation gimmicks as well to ensure that this kit will be one of the most dynamic 1/144 pieces in your collection!


RG MSN-04 Sazabi

Well everyone, we can go on record as saying Bandai just can't help themselves! We officially have a Unicorn Gundam in EVERY. SINGLE. GRADE. This RG kit will feature full transformation gimmicks, just like a tiny lil PG! The kit will come with the beam magnum, bazooka, shield, and beam sabers, so you'll have the whole Unicorn arsenal!

RG RX-0 Unicorn Gundam

In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the "Macross" anime series, Bandai is launching a new Macross plastic model series in HG, with the first model being the YF-19 variable fighter! We have to say, the bigger Bandai Macross kits that utilize a true transformation system can get a little finnicky, so we're happy to see them incorporate parts replacement for key structural elements! By eliminating the need for a full transforming frame, a new level of articulation in all three modes has been achieved. Marking seals are included for small details and emblems as well!


HG 1/100 Variable Fighter YF-19

Finally, finally, FINALLY we are having the long-standing calls for Macross kits that are not fully transformable answered! Of course this kit will be able to change between modes, but not without the help of some parts swapping gimmicks that allow the kit to maintain stability in all three modes!


HG 1/100 YF-29 Durandal Valkyrie (Alto Saotome Use)

We love that the HG Macross line isn't stopping! Once again this 1/100 scale rendition of Max's Durandal Valkyrie is not fully transformable like the 1/72 kits, but instead utilizes a series of parts replacement gimmicks to allow for stability in all three variable fighter modes! Accessories include the gun pod, shield, knife, missile deployment parts, landing gear, detail stickers, and a display base!

The fifth model kit to join the HG lineup of Macross semi-transforming kits is the Fire Valkyrie with Sound Booster! Of course you can choose to display it in Gerwalk, Valkyrie, or Battroid mode upon completion, and a display pedestal is included so you won't just have a cool plane sitting on the ground once you're all done. Of course there are separately-sold water decals for plenty of extra detail as well!

Two more Macross kits are joining the HG 1/100 line, and this time it's Max and Milia! The "Shortcut Change" system is back and as good as ever, allowing you to recreate all three forms without sacrificing stability or the clean lines of the silhouette.
