These are the supplies I use and recommend for my style of DIY, hand-drawn dungeon tiles & maps.

For the maker/highlighter portion of the tiles I HIGHLY recommend Zebra Mildliners. There is very little bleed and 2 different tip styles. This 8 pack of neutrals is an excellent option.

If you want to expand from just neutrals or want to add some richer colors to your maps, this set of Mildliners are an excellent buy. (They are amazing for planners too.)

You need 1 inch graph paper for these tiles. Any 1 inch grid paper will do. This is the best option for the money.

I use Prismacolor Colored Pencils for everything. These are the high end option but literally any colored pencils will do.

These are a great budget option for colored pencils.

This is the best laminator kit for the money. Laminating these tiles is the way to go to protect them. Alternatively you can use clear packing tape, binder sleeves, or use them as is (do not attempt to tape them unprotected).

Masking tape is the best way to set the tiles up into maps once you are ready to play.

If you don't have a laminator or have no desire to get one, clear packing tape is another great option to protect your tiles.

Another alternative to protect your tiles / maps are sheet protectors.
